Recently we visited the Migoti washing station with all of the equipment to mill, roast, grind and prepare coffee that we took directly off of the drying tables. Farmers from the surrounding community joined in the tasting, and for many it was their first time to taste the product of their hard work. There were many smiles, laughs, astonished faces and even some frowns for those who have never tasted coffee before. We look forward in the future to building our coffee cupping lab right at the Migoti station, allowing us to regularly give farmers a taste of their coffee and a deeper understanding of quality in the coffee production process.
